JAMES THOMAS SHELTON
James Shelton married Letha Baldwin in 1922. They had a son, Richard Lee Shelton, born in Holton, Kansas, who died during the war in Leyte, Leyte Province, Eastern Visayas, Philippines. They also may have had a daughter, Sherry Ann Shelton, who lived with her grandparents, Mr and Mrs. George E Baldwin in 1940 in Holton, Kansas, when she was in the second grade. She was usually known by the name of Sherry Ann Leeds. Sherry was the daughter of Letha May Baldwin Shelton Leeds. Sherry Ann made her home in the St. Louis, Missouri area. She had graduated from college in 1955.

Mr. and Mrs. James Shelton of Kansas City, left Wednesday for Fort Worth, Texas, where Mr. Shelton will be employed by the McCall Cigar Co. Mrs. Shelton will visit her brother, Leo Baldwin while Mr. Shelton is on the road in the interest of his company. Mrs. Shelton was formerly Miss Leatha Baldwin of Holton.
