Christina Mary Winton, 71, of Hudson, a former Daytona Beach resident, died Wednesday at home. Mrs. Winton was born in Aurora, Ill., and moved to Daytona Beach in 1995 and in 2004 relocated to Hudson. She retired as a waitress from Hampton Restaurant, Daytona Beach. She was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, the Red Hat Society and volunteered as a teachers aide at Bayonet Point Middle School, Hudson. She enjoyed bingo and playing the lottery especially scratch tickets. Survivors include a son, Robert, Jonesborough, TN; a daughter, Robin Winton, Pear Blossom, CA; a brother, Alvin Van Doser, Hudson; a sister, Florence VanBusskirk, Montgomery, IL; and two grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Hernando Pasco Hospice, 12107 Majestic Blvd., Hudson, FL 34667. Volusia Memorial, Ormond Beach, is in charge.
