Mary Louise Crane Funk

Mary is the wife of Martin M Funk, daughter of Elmer LeRoy Crane and Mary Cottrell. The mother of nine (9) children, Louise Farwell, Debra Scott, Darrell M Funk, Barbara West, David L Funk, LeRoy D Funk, Linda Keller, Brent A Funk and Lisa Funk. Mary grew up on a farm in Unity, a small community two miles south east of Burley Idaho.
After graduating from high school, Mary attended Albion State Normal School and received her teaching degree. Mary used her teaching skills throughout her life. As a teacher Mary taught in public school, in church, including assignments in Relief Society, Sunday School, Primary and Mary was a leader in stake young women's programs. But her most successful teaching came with her own children.
During her life she found time to do Genealogy work, and spent many hours gathering information, pictures, stories and other vital records. All the while living a life of example, dictated to her husband, children, church and community. Mary truly lived a Christ like life.
