John Gregory Banat, of Port St Lucie, Florida was born and grew up in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, and sadly passed away on August 6th, 2021 in Florida.

Father of Corine Banat of Jensen Beach, Florida, and brother of Deborah (Banat) Briggs of Old Bridge, NJ.

John worked for Cardinal Health for many years, sharing his love for music, playing guitar, and making an indelible impression by designing custom guitars for his friends and family. He savored great craft beers and shared what he loved with others.

John will be missed and always loved by, Corine, soon-to-be son-in-law, Cody Baker, Deborah, and dear nieces, Caitlin Gray-Stroll (for whom he made the greatest Performance Bass) and for Kristen Gray (sharing new craft beers together) and by Maureen Banat, former wife of John and devoted mother of Corine.
