Jeannene Affinito, 82, of Monongahela passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday January 1, 2023. . She was born on March 25, 1940 in Monongahela. Jeannene was the daughter of Bernard and Jennie (Destefon) Affinito. She graduated from Monongahela High School in 1958 and received her Bachelors in Business Administration from Robert Morris College. For over 30 years she had worked at various Mellon Banks from where she retired in 1989 as the branch manager. Jeannene was a member of the St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Monongahela. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was also a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins. Jeannene is survived by her sister Bernadette (Joel) Kramer of Monongahela; two brothers Bernard (Billreda) Affinito of Dresden, OH and Mark (Kathy) Affinito of Monongahela; several nieces, and nephews Mark Affinito, Jennie (Terrell) Affinito, Dominick (Christina) Affinito, Anthony Affinito, Michael (Emily) Affinito, Christine (Brian) Wagner, Patrick (Donna) Kramer, and Timmy Kramer; great nieces, and nephews Audrina, and Averee Satterfield; Jared (Cheyenne) Kramer, and Leah (Shawn) Scheponik, all whom she loved very dearly. She was preceded in death by her sister Rosalie Affinito who passed away August 24, 2022. A private Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Andrew the Apostle Parish and her interment was held at Monongahela Cemetery.
