William Enos Blanchard, 82, passed away on January 10, 2006 at his home in Lake Havasu City, AZ; with his wife and daughter at his side. Bill was born on September 14, 1923, in Kansas City, KS; to Joseph and Mamie Blanchard of Kansas City, KS. He was the youngest of three children.

Bill was a member of the 4th, Marine Division, United States Marine Corps; serving in the South Pacific for three years during WWII. While living in Kansas City, Bill and Betty owned two restaurants in their lifetime and Bill was also in auto sales for Brace Oldsmobile, Greenlease-O'Neill Oldsmobile, and Greenlease Cadillac.

Bill and his family moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; on April 16, 1966. He started out working at the McCulloch factory, then with the gas company bringing the gas line into the city. Bill attained his Arizona real estate license in May 1966. He began working with Holly Development in June 1966. He sold land for Robert P. McCulloch and was named the exclusive broker for MCO Properties in 1980, selling much of the land in Lake Havasu City until his retirement in 1990. Bill was instrumental in the founding of Telesis Center for Learning, Inc; and continued to support the growth and development of Telesis serving on its Board of Trustees. He was also a member of the V.F.W., DAV. Marine Corps League, Masons, Elks and Community Presbyterian Church.

Bill is survived by his wife of 60 years Betty Blanchard, daughter Sandra Kay Breece of Lake Havasu City, AZ; and grandson Ryan Michael Breece of Rancho Bernardo, CA.

A visitation will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Friday, January 13, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Saturday, January 14, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. David Bybee officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Hospice of Havasu, P.O. Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ; 86405 or Telesis Center for Learning, Inc; 2598 Starlite Lane, Lake Havasu City, AZ; 86403.
