Ruth M. Sanders, 92, of Soddy-Daisy, TN passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012 at a local health care facility.
She was a member of Daisy United Methodist Church.
She was a very outgoing lady, helping anyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wyatt E. Sanders; stepson, James Sanders; parents, Claude and Lula Martin; brothers, R.C. Martin, Hugh Martin, sisters, Mary Clift, Sarah Rigney, Dorothy Card; daughter-in-law, Kaye Sanders.
She is survived by her daughter, Sarah (Rick) Williams; sons, Ronald (Laura) Sanders, Gerald (Elizabeth) Sanders; daughter-in-law, Barbara Sanders; brother-in-law, Norris Clift; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Annabelle Hatfield and the Burns family.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Gerald Sanders and the Rev. Don Jones officiating.
Interment will follow the service at Poe Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank Dr. Frederick Gould and the staff at Soddy-Daisy Health Care Center for their love and support for our mother.
