She was the wife of James Oscar Harned, the son of James David Harned and 2/w Amanda Blanche Yates. Ada Eleanor Nugent Harned died on December 8, 1951 at the home of her daughter Allie and William Jennings Van Fossan in Dayton Montgomery County, Ohio. The names of her parents given on her death certificate were Harrison Nugent and Eliza P. Nugent.
James Oscar Harned died on April 25, 1915 in Grayson County. He was buried there in the Vol Layman Cemetery near Millwood, Kentucky. Ada Eleanor Nugent Harned joined him ther after her death on December 8, 1951.
