DeMOSS RITES SET FRIDAY

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in the Strode chapel for Fred William DeMoss, 70, who died Wednesday in Veterans hospital at Oklahoma City. The Rev. V.A. Doty will officiate with interment at Elm Grove cemetery.

DeMoss, who lived at 713 ½ E. Virginia St., was born April 8, 1887, at Shelbyville, Mo., to Mr. and Mrs. J.W. DeMoss.
He came to Oklahoma with his parents in 1899 and settled seven miles southwest of Stillwater. He later moved to the city where he resided until his death. He was a member of the Hanner-Sharp American Legion post.

DeMoss is survived by one brother, Clark O. of 713 E. Virginia, and two sisters, Mrs. Mae Hinkle, Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Ethel Wyatt of Salem, Ore.

Active bearers will be Joe Human, Ray Williams, Forest Bilyeu, Jimmy Miller, B.A. Olinghouse and Oscar Barrett. Honorary bearers will be Clarence McKaughn, H.L. PAYNE, Fred Holzer, R.B. Skidgel, Lester Burch, Bob Oldfield, Charley Focht, T.F. Brown, O.A. Herald, Frank Gates and Amos German.
