Secretary to president and board of trustees of American
International College, and a real estate broker for Stearns & Yerrall of Longmeadow died Monday in the Jewish Nursing Home of Western Massachusetts, Longmeadow. Born in Springfield, she was a member of the Women's Division of the Chamber of Commerce, the Women's Committee for the Center City, and the World Affairs Council. She was also a member of South Church, the Colony Club, the Springfield Women's Club, the Wesson Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, the Women's Symphony League, the StageWest Theatre Guild and the Arts Club. She was the chairwoman of the Channel 57 Auction in 1988 and a volunteer arbitrator for the Better Business Bureau of Western Massachusetts. Her husband, Allan A. Campbell, senior vice president and trust officer of BayBank, died in 1985. She leaves her mother, Catherine Demos Catherine Demos of Springfield,three brothers: Theodore P of Wethersfield, Ct.; James of Springfield and Louie P. of Agawam; and two sisters, Jennie Goulet of Spofford, NH and Sandra Demos of Springfield. Her father,Peter Demos and one sister,Christine Wojcik predeceased her. She leaves also, four stepsons: Allan A. Campbell Jr. of Agawam, M. Trant Campbell of Wilbraham, Thomas H. Campbell of Fairfax, Va. and Jefferson C. of Blanford.
A memorial service was held on Friday afternoon at South Congregational Church in Springfield.
Dickinson-Streeter Funeral Home was in charge. There were no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Pioneer Valley, 570 Cottage St.,Springfield 01104.Clergy: Rev. Peter E.
