Beverly Sue Manes, 75, born May 7, 1947 to Otis and Gertrude Cowden in Bolivar, passed away Friday, Jan. 20, 2023, at Big Springs Nursing Home. She was married to Gene Manes, who preceded her in death along with her brother, Ronnie and her daughter, Shelly.
She is survived by her sisters, Lela, Janie, Margie, Janet, Connie and Ronday; her daughter Melinda; six grandkids and her 11 great-grandkids.
She was a spirited woman who enjoyed a good laugh.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, at the American Legion in Bolivar.
