The daughter of Friedrich Wilhelm "Frederick" Brommelhorst and Margaretha Louise Maria "Marie" Jacobsmeyer, "Elizabeth" was baptized "Margarethe Maria Elisabeth Brommelhorst" on 04 Apr 1875 at Salem Lutheran Church in Black Jack, St. Louis County, Missouri. Her sponsors were Margretha Jacobsmeyer and [Mrs. Heinrich] Mueller.

Elizabeth married Friedrich J. "Frederick" Nollmann on 08 Nov 1899 at Salem Lutheran Church. They were the parents of 1 child.

Frederick worked as a metal polisher for the Landis Machine Company.

Elizabeth belonged to the Ladies Aid at Pilgrim Evangelical Lutheran Church. She also was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Concordia Aid Association, Branch No. 4.

Elizabeth died at her home after suffering a coronary thrombosis. At the time of her death, she was 81 years and 8 months old.

She was survived by her husband, Frederick; 1 daughter, Mildred Glusenkamp; 1 son-in-law; 1 grandson; and many extended family members.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her mother and father.

Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. on the morning of 03 Oct 1956 at Math Hermann and Son's Chapel, located at Fair and West Florissant in north St. Louis County.

Elizabeth's husband, Frederick, passed away in 1959.
