He was the youngest of four brothers: Walt, Don, and Bob.
He is survived by his brother Don, wife Deborah, daughters Kelly and Laura, six grandchildren and spunky dog Molly.
He was a GMGSN E3 gunners mate from 1971-1977 on the USS Leahy. After his time in the military, he worked as a diesel mechanic and diesel driver with certifications in toxic materials handling, welding and home inspection. His hobby was woodworking.
There will be a military funeral service at Fort Jackson in Columbia, SC on February 1, 2023 at 3:00 pm. He will be placed in an alcove on the base, so please no flowers or keepsakes for the alcove. Your presence is a blessing enough.
