Dell's father died when she was about 3-years old. Her younger brother was about 6-months old. He was named Ernest though their father's headstone has "Arnest".

Obit - A loving mother, grandmother, friend and wife was born to the late Earnest (Arnest) Baugh and Mary Avis Haren in Frogville, Oklahoma on April 19, 1932.

In her younger life Dell attended school in Ft. Towson, Oklahoma. She later moved to Crest, Texas where she attended Crest High School and graduated.

Dell moved to Southern California and married the love of her life in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 27, 1954 to the late Jack Jr. and in those beautiful 28 years three children were born; Debra Thomas (William Stan), Rondah Houck (Phil) and Rick McCoy (Michelle). As they traveled from California, they found their home in Gilmer, Texas were she raised her family for 52 years.

After retiring from Anvil Products as a packer, in Longview, Texas, she became the loving housewife full of life and energy raising her three children. She was one who loved gardening, spending time with her family, cooking and dancing with her grandchildren.

Dell was preceded in death by her husband; Jack Jr. McCoy, her parents; Earnest (Arnest) Baugh and Mary Avis Haren, her step father; Richard Haren and brother; Earnest (sic) Mitchell Baugh.

To carry on here legacy of life, love and happiness is her son; Rick McCoy and two daughters; Debra Thomas (William Stan) and Rondah Houck (Phil), seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and a special niece Jerri Sue Siel and host of other nieces and nephews.
