She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven and Hoosier Favorite Quilters. She graduated from St. Joseph School of Nursing and was a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph and Parkview Hospitals.
Deborah was co-owner of A Quilt of Many Colors for seven years and was an avid quilter with many quilting friends.
Deborah was also preceded in death by her son, Brian Evard.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am, Monday, January 23, 2023, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church New Haven, 943 Powers St., with calling one hour prior. Visitation also Sunday, January 22, 2023, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne with a Vigil Service at 2:00 pm. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery.
