He was born Dec. 2, 1876, in Greenfield Ohio.
He is survived by his wife Nancy, three daughters; Mrs. Melva Porter, Mrs. Mary Smith, and Mrs. Lillian Fry, all of Springfield, a number of grandchildren and several nieces and nephews survive.
His body was taken to the Littleton Funeral Home where friends may call from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home by the Rev. Arlo F. Newell, Pastor of the First Church of God. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery.
