Francis A. Figart
Francis A. Figart, 91, Bellmeade Manor, died Sunday afternoon, August 29,1999, at Beverly Healthcare-Hillview. He was born May 10, 1908, in Altoona, the son of Joseph F. and Myrtle R. (Frye). He was twice married. First he
married Eleanor Gaut in July 1930. She died in 1938. He then married Mable E. Peters in 1943. She died July 16, 1984. Mr. Figart was a member of Wehnwood United Methodist Church. He retired as a printer in 1971 from The Birmingham
Eccentric, Detroit, after 26 years of service. Mr. Figart was a member of Brotherhood Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons, Michigan, the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Jaffa Shrine and the Detroit Typographical Union No. 18 for 40
years. Surviving are a stepdaughter, Dore E. Hahnefeld of Brown City, MI; a brother, Ray of Decatur, GA; and several grandchildren. There will be no visitation. Arrangements by E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home Inc.

FIGART- A memorial service for Francis A. Figart will be held at Wehnwood United Methodist Church with Pastor Michael S. Bequeath officiating. Interment will be at Carson Valley Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Arrangements by E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home Inc., 2309 Broad Avenue. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
