Died, after a lingering illness, October 4, 1891, Mrs. E.G. HARRIS, aged 59 years. She was buried in Union cemetery on Monday, the procession being one of the largest ever in the neighborhood, there being forty two vehicles in line. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J.A. Hubenger assisted by Revs. Reynolds and Blackledge.

Evidence from several census records indicates Delitha was less than two years older than her husband, making her likely birth year 1823, not 1819. Therefore, when she died in 1891, she was about 69 years old, rather than 59. Also, her baby daughter's headstone in Warren County, KY, indicates that Delitha's initials were A.D., and her marriage license reads "Miss Angelitha Edwards," so it appears that Delitha was actually her middle name.)
