Margaret Nadine Blyzes, 88, of Bismarck, MO departed this life on Monday, January 16, 2023. She was born Thursday, December 20, 1934, in Cape Girardeau, MO. She later married her lifetime love, Arthur H. Blyzes, on May 13, 1963, sharing all the good and bad of life on this earth, until his departure in October of 2009. Margaret Nadine lived her life as a child of God, as a member of the United Pentecostal Church, mostly at The Lively Stone Tabernacle, of Desloge. She loved to sing especially at Church, from a very young age. Margaret Nadine also loved to play the piano, paint artistically, tend to her flower garden, and socialize with friends and strangers. She was a social butterfly - a blessing to everyone she met. Margaret Nadine gave all her love, freely to everyone. She loved and owned many dogs, and animals, over the years. She loved their farm and in her younger years, she loved to ride her horses, raise chickens, and all types of farm foul. She was a health care worker, during her later years, and retired from Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center in Farmington.
She was preceded in death by her adoring husband Arthur H. Blyzes; ten brothers and sisters; and seven brothers and sisters in-law.
Margaret Nadine is survived by her son, Joseph H. Blyzes; daughter, Shanna D. Blyzes Elmer Franklin (Bradley Franklin); two grandchildren, Jason and Eloise Elmer (father of grandchildren, Jim Elmer); two brothers in-law, Orville and Bill Blyzes; sister in-law, Billie Blyzes; nephew, Vohn Busby; many nieces, nephews, her Church family, and dear friends, also survive.
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Monday, January 23, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The visitation will resume at 12:00 PM Tuesday, January 24, 2023, until the service time at 2:00 PM. Brother Larry Sprous will be officiating. Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Bismarck
