On November 19, 1914, she was united in marriage to Wallace Kent. To this marriage six children were born, as follows: John Alexander, Frances Kathryn, Wallace Lee, Virgil Ray, Lloyd Gene and Loyal Wayne, all at home, who with the husband survive her. She is also survived by one sister, Mary D. Selecman of Savannah; and one brother, Otis Selecman of St Joseph; and a host of other relatives and friends.
While quite young she was converted and united with the Mt Vernon church and had spent her entire life doing the best she could. During her long illness she never complained, always thinking she would regain her health. She was a faithful wife, a kind and loving mother and a friend to all who knew her.
Funeral services were held at Rea Monday at 1:30 by Rev. W. C. Whitehouse of King City and burial was in the Savannah cemetery." Savannah Reporter and Andrew County Democrat (Savannah, Missouri), September 21, 1934
