Mary Elaine Turner Adams, 97, of Carrollton, KY, died on Monday evening, January 9, 2023, at her home in Carrollton.
She was born on July 5, 1925, in Eagle Station, Carroll County, KY, the daughter of the late Arch Edward Turner and Daisy Dean Walker Turner. Mary had retired as a sales associate from the McAlpin's Department Store in Cincinnati, OH, and later went on to work at the Cartmell Elementary School in Carrolton as a Cafeteria Food Preparer. She was a member of the Worthville Baptist Church for many years.
Survivors include a granddaughter; Jessica (Bob) Noel Gierhart of Columbus, OH, and two great grandchildren; Max and Lilly Gierhart of Columbus, OH, along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Arthur Thomas "Art" Adams on January 13, 2018, her son; Gregory Thomas Adams in 1979, three sisters; Dorothy Hartman, Lutie Furnish and Ruby Turner, two brothers; Raymond and Floyd Turner.
