Mrs. Velma V. Robbins
Shalley, 68, of Lafayette, died
Friday in St. Elizabeth Hospital
after suffering a heart attack
earlier.
She was married in 1925 to Olie
R. Shalley and had been employed
as a maid at Purdue
University and St. Elizabeth
Hospital. She was a member of
Lilly Creek Baptist Church in
Madison County where she was
born.
Surviving with her husband are
two daughters; one brother; a
sister, Mrs. Don Kelley of Cutler;
and six grandchildren.
Final rites were Monday at
Lafayette with interment in
Dayton Cemetery.
