Jesse C. Gregory, 78, of Collinsville, Ill., born April 23, 1927, in Collinsville, Ill., died Friday, March 10, 2006, at Jefferson Barracks VA Medical Center, St. Louis, Mo.
Mr. Gregory was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy M., nee Melacon, Gregory; his parents, William Richard and Edna Hester, nee Peak, Gregory; a step daughter, Patricia Gagne; three brothers, Donald Ray Gregory Sr., William Richard Gregory Jr., and Lonny Reise Gregory Sr.; and two sisters, Edith Baugh and Norma Jean Gregory.
Surviving are his daughter, Christine (John) Ford; his son, Kenny (Nanette) Gregory; two step children, Donna (John) Scheib, and Charles (Sue) Butcher; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Velma (Bob) Butcher; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2006, at Herr Funeral Home, Caseyville, Ill. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
