This community was shocked to learn of the tragic death of Mrs. Etta Selix, wife of James Selix, who had taken her own life by hanging. No cause can be found for the act other than ill health.
Deceased is survived by the husband and four sons, Ellsworth and Arlo, both of Unionville, Iowa; Simon of Spickards, Mo.; and Joe of Colorado.
Funeral services were conducted at the home at 10 o'clock a.m., Friday June 22, 1928, Rev. Ward officiating. Interment was made at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery near Ash Grove.
