Brenda Sue Martin, 79, of Kendallville, passed away on January 1, 2023, at her home.

She was born at Lucky Hospital in Wolf Lake, on October 7, 1943, to the late Raymond Royce "Buck" and Jeanette (Herron) Beezley.

Brenda Bloom was married to William Martin. He preceded her in death on January 19, 1985.

She worked for several years at Fort Meyers Truck Stop before going to work at Dexter Axel, where she retired after 25 years.

She was a talented artist and enjoyed painting and drawing. She liked to travel in her semi with her true love, Ed. She especially loved to spend time with her grandkids.

Brenda is survived by her three daughters, Rebecca (Earl) Price, Rhonda Martin, and Jennie Bloom; a sister-in-law, Joyce Beezley; a sister, Jann (Dan) Chupp; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandkids.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Arminda Jean Bloom; sisters, Lore Lee Sherman, Linda Mitchell; her brother, Thomas "Tom" Beezley; her companion, Ed.

A funeral service will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel, on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., with calling beginning at 10:00 a.m.
