Cynthia Ruth Almond, 95, of Reidsville, NC, passed away peacefully at home on December 16, 2022, from natural causes.
She was born and grew up in Winslow, Indiana, a daughter to the late Pearl and Minnie Ruth Allen.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Frank Almond; her son, Gregory Almond; and by her siblings: Pearl Allen Jr., Gladys Bunn, Nancy Bridges, and Daisy Ward.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Debbie Brauneck of Palatka, FL, and Janeen Goodwin of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Matthew Brauneck of Naples, FL, Daniel Brauneck of St. Augustine, FL, Shelby Willoughby (Richard) of Tampa, FL, Allison Goodwin of Raleigh, NC; great-granddaughter, Ophelia Brauneck; sister, Kitty Barnes of Wilson, NC; brother, Kirby Allen of Rockwell, NC, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial service celebrating Cynthia's life will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 28, 2023, in Reidlawn Cemetery with Rev. Ryan Harden officiating.
