Adelaide Mae Aleshire, age 90, of Marriottsville, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023, at Bon Secours, Marriottsville.
She was born on December 2, 1932, in Baltimore, MD. She was the wife of the late Edward S. Aleshire, Jr. who died in 2013.
Adelaide was a homemaker all of her life. She also drove a school bus in south Carroll County for over 20 years. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were most important to her.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Debbie and Alan Jenkins of Taylorsville and Denise and Ken Dyson of Westminster; son and daughter-in-law Joseph and Julie Aleshire of Hampstead; grandchildren: Nicholas Jenkins (Stephanie), Ashley Badami (Joseph), Ryan Dyson (Brandi), Kyle Dyson (Samantha), Matthew Aleshire and Elizabeth Aleshire and great-grandchildren: Heath, Chantel, Shelby, Lucy, Hank, Lillian and Farrah.
She was predeceased by her son, Edward S. "Eddie" Aleshire and grandson Michael Alan Aleshire.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 11am at Bon Secours Chapel, 1525 Marriottsville Road, Marriottsville, MD where a funeral mass will follow at 11am. Interment will follow the service at Lake View Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, PO Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101-9950 or to The Mother Seton Fund, 339 Seton Avenue, Emmitsburg, MD 21727-9297.
