Ida Rose Stott, 89, of Grand Rapids, Ohio passed away Monday, January 2, 2023 at Mercy Health Perrysburg Hospital.
She was born December 4, 1933 in Wood County, Ohio to the late Arza and Hazel (Struble) Wright. She was previously married to Cloyce Stott and they later divorced.
Ida graduated from Weston High School and retired from Bowling Green State University. She worked for over 28 years in the food service department. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Grand Rapids.
Ida loved to camp and over the years she spent a lot of summers at Hidden Lake, Neapolis, Ohio and Sunset Cove, Grand Rapids. She was gifted at crochete and made beautiful afghans for all her family that they will treasure.
She is survived by three sons, Tim Stott; Alan (Sharon) Stott; Mark (Pam) Stott; 4 grandchildren, Tracy (Jerry) Pyles; Brad Stott (Sara Shawver); Holly (Trey) Proctor; LaRae Bryant; 9 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Scheirer and Lavonna Parsons; and a half brother, Clyde Wright.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at Weston Cemetery, Weston, Ohio with Pastor Scott Carman officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m on Thursday at the Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler.
The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
