Jaxon Daniel Acton, age 17, of Warrenton, watched his first sunset from Heaven on December 31, 2022. He came into the world on July 26, 2005, a son of Wilbur Acton and Tonya Bandy. Although he was only 17, Jaxon was an old soul with a big heart. His wit, his intelligence, and his outgoing personality were absolutely unforgettable.

Jaxon was beloved by all who knew him and was known for his sense of humor. A junior at Great Circle Academy in Webster Groves, he had aspirations of becoming a voice-over actor, a picker, or even working at Spencer's. Just about anything was an adventure to Jaxon, but the highlight of any day was spending time with his loved ones.

Jaxon found peace in nature and especially enjoyed watching sunsets. Knowing that he is seeing those brilliant pinks and purples from far above of us brings us comfort, just as knowing that we will see him again someday does.

He is survived by his mother, Tonya Bandy; father, Wilbur (Raquel) Acton; siblings: Colie Bandy, Devin (Shannon) Spears, Kelsey Roark, Hayden Prior, Aiden Roark, Macon Acton, and Alexander Acton; grandfather Jack Walker; grandmother Sherry Brazeal; aunt Jessica Linder and family; uncle Darin Acton and family; dear friends Keyshaan and Kalyssa Jackson and Kimber and Keyera Kintner; as well as a host of cousins and other extended family members and friends.

Preceding him in death are his grandmother, Bobbie Bandy; grandfather, Lee Linder; uncle, Dale Spoo; and his beloved pit bull, Daisy.

Visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral Home in Columbia on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 11:00 AM, with a funeral service officiated by Pastor Ray Brewer immediately following at noon. Graveside services and interment will take place at Red Top Cemetery in Hallsville.
