Cecil C. Bova, 74, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023 at his home.

He was born October 26, 1948 in St. Mary, MO to Andrew and Juanita (LaFluer) Bova.

Cecil and Joyce M. Klaus were married on June 19, 1971 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and The Elk's Lodge #270.

He worked as a manager in the Leather Handbag Manufacturing industry and retired from Dooney & Bourke in Puerto Rico.

Cecil along with his wife Joyce, enjoyed playing golf especially during the winter months they spent in Corpus Christi, TX.

Survivors include daughter, Cindy (special friend Sheila Moore) Cissell of Perryville; brother, Bruce (Linda) Bova of Ste. Genevieve; two sister-in-laws, Nancy Bova of Leesburg, FL, Bonnie (Everett) Tilley of Perryville; two grandchildren, Dusty (Katie) Cissell, Kelsey (Michael) Fritsche; four great-grandchildren, Jackson Cissell, Millie Cissell, Sawyer Fritsche, Mia Fritsche.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronnie Bova; sister-in-law, Cherryl Taylor.

Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Cecil chose to donate his body for medical study at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis Missouri.

Memorial contributions may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church or School.
