Gloria Faith White Traxler of Monroe, Louisiana was quietly released to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at the age of 87. She had a long life filled with family and friends. Arrangements are as follows: Visitation: Saturday, November 16, from 5 to 7 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, LA. Funeral Service: Sunday, November 17, at 1:30 PM at Lakeshore Baptist Church, Monroe, LA. Graveside Service: Sunday, November 17, at 4:00 PM, at Old Pine Hill Cemetery, Leland, LA.

Gloria "Faye" was born at Pleasant Cottage in New Era, LA on June 8, 1932, to Richard Allen White, Sr and Rose Ella "Rozella" Morace White. She was the second of their seven children. In caring for her younger siblings, she became the loving and supportive mother that blessed the lives of her two children. Her faith in the Lord developed early in her life and she lived for Him daily. Gloria was faithful in all things. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard A. White, Sr and wife, Neva LaPrairie of Ferriday, LA and Rozella Morace White Davis and husband, Lawrence of Baton Rouge; her husband, Charles David "Mickey" Traxler Sr of Rayville, LA; Son, Charles David "Butch" Traxler Jr of Swartz, LA; Sister: Mary White Gonnillini of Natchez, MS; Brothers, Richard Allen White Jr of Sorrento, LA, Harold Tony White of Baton Rouge, LA, Adolph Dalton "Red" White of Hot Springs Village, AR and Albert Roy White of Jonesville, LA; Grandson, Charles Allen Bowman of Mangham, LA; and grand daughter, Terri Lynn Gremillion Smith of Swartz, LA.

Gloria is survived by her daughter, Mickie Janelle Traxler Bowman and son-in-law, Joe Michael Bowman Sr of Monroe, LA; Daughter-in-law, Sharon Brown Traxler of Swartz, LA; Grand Children, Joe Michael Bowman Jr (Amy Pearce Bowman) of West Monroe, LA, William Scott Bowman (Jennifer Rowe Bowman) of Winnsboro, TX, Rachael Traxler Hudnall (Chris) of Trout, LA, Brandi Traxler Blocker of Monroe, LA, Christie Gremillion Hemphill (Clyde Redl) of Swartz,LA; Sisters, Judy White Cruse of Monroe, LA, Janice White Bostic (John) of Monterey, LA, Joy White Beattie (Steve) of Ridgeland, MS; Brother, Jeffery Allen White (Joan) of Bossier City, LA, as well as many great and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers are great grandsons Duncan, Liam and Rowen Bowman, nephews Mike Traxler, Don Gonnillini, and Mark Patterson, honorary grandsons Jason, Casey and Adam Bowman.

Gloria was an H&R Block Franchise owner in Rayville for many years and was a long-time active member of Woodlawn Baptist Church, Rayville, LA. For the last seven years she has resided on Bayou DeSiard in the Lakeshore/Swartz area where she became a faithful member of Lakeshore Baptist Church, Monroe, LA.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Heart of Hospice for their loving care during the last few months of her life.
