Agatha was born to Nicholas and Sarah Travis Hayden. She was enriched by and proud of her Newfoundland heritage, being the granddaughter of a prominent sea captain and merchant and daughter of a well-known semi-professional soccer player.

She was employed as a communication specialist in Gander, Newfoundland, and later as a military correspondence specialist by the Northeast Air Command Deport in St. Johns, Newfoundland. In Peoria, she served as the manager of several commuter airlines at the Peoria airport.

Agatha married Marvin Bohls on June 14, 1953, in Harbour Grace.

Agatha is survived by her husband; one daughter, Ann; three sons, John, Eric (Melinda) and Scott (Angie); seven grandchildren, Angela, Jennifer, Sarah, Stephanie, Brett, Sean and Ty; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
