Holmes County Native, 84, Dies in Massillon City Hospital Monday
David Ellsworth Allison, 84, retired farmer living six miles west of Millersburg, died at 7 p. m. Monday in the Massillon city hospital, where he had been a patient the last three weeks. He was born near Welcome, Holmes county, June 6, 1863, a son of James and Anna Allison. In 1914, he was married to Bessie Halloway, who survives. Other survivors include a sister, Mrs., Virgil Cline, of Angola, Ind., and several nieces and nephews. Services will be Friday at 2:30 p. m. in the Welcome Church of Christ with Arthur Poll officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Elliot funeral home in Millersburg.
