It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of my spouse Darrell Ray Goins. Darrell passed away at home on Dec 27, 2022, at the age of 87, surrounded by the loves of his life, Paul and his endearing pug girls, Lilly and Pearl and his close friend Ned Roberts.
He was born on September 2, 1935, to his father Arthur James and Edna Mae Goins. He was the brother to his twin sister Shirley, his sisters Reba, Helen and Carol, and his twin brothers Ronald and Donald.

He is survived by his spouse Paul Riddle; his constant pug companions Lilly and Pearl; his siblings Reba, Helen, and Ronald; his sons Brian, Keith (wife Chelle) and Gary Don; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a close circle of friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his sisters Shirley and Carol; his brother Donald; his son Stephen; and his previous pug companions MeiLing and Ruby.

Darrell learned the vocation of typeset and letter press printing at Fort Smith High School in the 50's and was a well-respected and skilled printer until he retired in his 70's. He was actively involved in Belle Fort Smith Historic Homes Tour. Darrell had a passion for refinishing and restoration of antique and vintage furniture and lamps.

Due to the current flu/covid season, there will be a memorial service announced for early spring 2023. Please visit Edwards Funeral home website (edwardsfuneralhome.com) to leave a message of support, share a photo or a fond memory of Darrell.
