Mrs. Mae Rector died at her home Sunday morning at 9:30, of pneumonia. She was 74 years old and had lived near and in Dayton for the past 25 years. Her husband, William Rector, died several years ago.

She is survived by two daughters, Miss Eva, a teacher in the Dayton school and Mrs. Ollie James. There is a sister, Mrs. Carter of Brookston, and a brother Samuel Morehouse, of California surviving.

The body lay in state at the Methodist church from 12 to 2 o'clock on Tuesday when Rev. Pearson, a former pastor, preached the sermon, assisted by Rev. H. K. Joye. Interment was in Dayton cemetery.
