Mr Hood was a native of Missouri.He lived in Linden six years. He was a tool-and-die maker.
He is survived by his children Thomas Hood of Salida, Linda Benson and Allen Hood Jr, both of Linden, and Robin Hood and Julie Hood, both of Hayward, sisters Ottie Johnson and Curly Denberger, both of Missouri ,and Edith Clark of Fresno and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 1 am Tuesday at Park View Memorial Chapel Manteca Park View Mortuary Manteca in charge of arrangements
