Dale made a profession of faith in Christ and at the time of his passing was a longtime member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. On February 22, 1958, Dale was united in marriage with the love of his life and eternal best friend, Carole Guinn. To this union was born two daughters, Teresa Renea and Cindy Raye. Together Dale and Carole shared sixty-four years of love and laughter, while raising their girls.
Dale worked hard to provide for his family. He was an over the road truck driver for Yellow Freight Trucking Company for over thirty years, until his retirement. The friendships he made with his trucking buddies were priceless. He cherished each of them.
Dale loved life. He loved his family, and according to them, he also loved breakfast, especially from McDonalds. Although they lovingly recall he had a bit of a "stubborn and independent side" that he apparently passed down through the generations, he was also incredibly loving. He was a devoted family man and loved each of them unconditionally. Time with them is what he treasured most. They were his greatest joy.
Dale is survived by his wife Carole; two daughters, Teresa Renea Mclallen and her husband Jim of Walnut Grove, MO and Cindy Raye Ewing of Springfield, MO; four brothers, Ellis of Grovespring, MO, Lloyd of Waynesville, MO, Loman of Lebanon, MO and Newell Robertson of Hartville, MO; Two sisters, Avis Garner of Grovespring and Ferrell Jordan of Marshfield, MO; three grandchildren, Jeremy Robertson and his wife Airen, Samantha Ewing and Conner Ewing and his wife Hannah; four great-grandchildren, Malik Robertson, Evelyn and Percy Ewing and Emberlee Shackelford; other relatives and many friends.
Those preceding him in death include his parents and one brother,+
Dale was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him, until we meet again.
