James was the son of the late Charlie and Ruthie Duff. He was an avid hunter, a loving husband, father and grandfather, good friend and prankster. He passed on his love of hunting and fishing to his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife Marsha Redden Duff, daughters Kimberly Bennett and husband Mike, and Melissa Wickham; Grandchildren Heidi Duff, Kara Bennett, Sara Bennett, Katy Bennett, Carson Baird, Dalton Wickham, Jamie Bennett and Emma Bennett; Sister Dorothy Beasley; brother Freddy Duff and wife, Jessie; numerous nieces, nephews and many other cherished family members and caring friends. He was preceded in death by brothers, Leroy Duff, Maco Duff and Eugene Duff.
His funeral was held on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Cleveland, Texas and interment was in the Security Cemetery, Security, Texas.
