"Martha Louise Hild Smith, 79, of Little Rock formerly of Smackover, went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday, July 19, 2005 joining her husband and son, Thomas Victor Smith and Tommy Jr. She was the daughter of the late Louis F. and Bessie Roe Hild and was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Hild Pruitt, and brothers, Carl and Jack Hild.

A long-time resident of Smackover, Martha was a bookkeeper and tax preparer as well as a member of First United Methodist Church.

Survived by many nieces and nephews and sisters-in-law. Also surviving are very special loved ones. She also had many great nieces and nephews and numerous friends to cherish her memory.

Our deepest gratitude goes to Hospice Home Care of Little Rock: Bobbie Wright, Brenda Wingfield, Dr. Morgan Sauer, and the wonderful, caring staff at the In Patient facility on Bowman Road in Little Rock.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 21, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (501-224-8300) as well as 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 22, at the First United Methodist Church of Smackover. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Silver Hill Cemetery by Reverend O. D. Turner.
