No exact date of death not given, the daughter of Franklin Walter and Grace Beatrice (Koeberle) Conwell. She attended Deep Creek School and graduated from Manhatten, KS High School. On August 14, 1937, she married her "Handsome Cowboy" Glen Siegle, the youngest son of Dan Leigh and Dotia Virginia (Cross) Siegle. The young couple rented a farm not far from his parents Sunnyside Community Farm. Their only son, Franklin Budd Siegle was born in 1940, in 1942, the family moved to the Conwell farm on Deep Creek after the death of his father. She was lifelong member of First United Methodist Church and the Deep Creek Needlecraft Club, of which her mother had been the founder. Mrs. Siegle began working at the Kansas State Press in 1950. In mid-1970's the couple built a ranch style house a short distance from the home place and spent their retirement years there. She cared for her husband as his health worsened, so that he could spend his last days on the site he had picked as their retirement home. Mrs Siegle survived by her son, Frank and his wife Mary Catherine (McCoy) Siegle; one grandson,Dan Patrick Siegle; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held Thursday February 14, 2008 at Pleasant Valley Cemetary with Reverand Kay Scarbrough officiating, Yorgen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, Manhatten was in charge of arrangements.
