MANSFIELD -- Marguerite H. "Peg" Reed, 96, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, Feb.13, 2008, at Twin Oaks Care Center. She was born May 3, 1911, in Springfield Township. Peg was a member of the First English Lutheran Church. Her hobbies included traveling, watching bas-ketball games, gardening, and doing word seek puzzles.
She is survived by two granddaughters, Allysonn and Jerry Looby of Katy, Texas, and Melissa and Steve Beat of Xenia; two great-grandchildren, Miranda and Shane Beat; three step great-grandchildren, Andrew, Dustin and Amber Beat; daughter-in-law, Rebecca (Reed) and Joe Donnenwirth; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold J. Reed on June 13, 1983; son, Ronald Reed; her parents; and 12 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, conducted by the Rev. Cloyd Kress. Friends may call Friday from 12 to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
