Wilfred P. "Willie" Borley, 91, Green bay, passed away suddenly, Tuesday, December 13, 2022. Born February 13, 1931, in Green Bay, he is the son of the late George and Theresa (Dantinne) Borley. Willie married Janice Brunette on May 5, 1951 at Saints Peter and Paul Church. He then faithfully served in the US Marine Corps from 1951 until his honorable discharge in 1953. Follow his time in the service, he worked at Beemster Electric as a dispatcher, retiring after nearly 40 years of dedicated service. Willie enjoyed going to movies, going out for Friday fish fries, doing puzzles, playing Schafkopf, and in his earlier years, he helped out on his sister's farm and attending Packer games with his brother-in-law, Jack. Willie is survived by his son, Dennis (Mary) Borley; grandson, Garrett Borley; special nieces, Pat Roy and Donna (Bob) Srenaski; and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Janice; brothers and sisters, Nora, Almira, Donald, Clarence and Hank. Visitation at St. Joseph Church, 1224 12th Avenue, Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 9:30 am until the time of the funeral. Funeral Mass 11am, Saturday at the church with Rev. Phillip Dihn-van-thiep officiating. Entombment in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. Malcore (East) Funeral Home is serving the family. Visit www.malcorefuneralhome.com to share a condolence.
