Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. A private burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, with Rev. Robyn Ford officiating.
Robert was born October 29, 1934, in Maracaibo, Venezuela, to Robert Dan Allison, Sr., and Olga Pauline Kemendo. He graduated from Waco High School and Baylor University. He later joined the U.S. Army. He worked in retail sales most of his life and resided in San Antonio. He moved back to Waco in 2015 to be close to his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Anita Allison Guthrie and husband, Richard; granddaughter, Alexandra Merritt, and husband, Kevin; great-granddaughter, Harper Merritt; lifelong friends, Robert and Peggy Ford; and his very special friends with whom he met weekly at Whataburger.
