Mrs. Susie K. Nolen, 97, who had made her home here the past 10 years with her daughter, Mrs. Theo Lowe, at 63S Sharon died at 2:50 am today at her home after a long illness. Funeral services will be held in San Antonio. Mrs. Nolen, a native of Roberson County, moved here from San Antonio. She was a member of Morgan Avenue Baptist Church. The body will be at Ross Langham Mortuary from 4 to 8 pm tomorrow before being taken to San Antonio. In addition to her daughter, survivors include five other daughters; Mrs. Alfred Dentler and Mrs. James B Lackey, both of Corpus Christi; Mrs. Ora Bellings of Hialeah, Fla.; Mrs. L. W. Lerick of San Antonio and Mrs. Paul Landrum of Fort Worth; a son A. L. Nolen of Corpus Christi;: 16 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
