Deborah Charline Scott, a longtime resident of Plano and Grapevine, Texas, died Saturday the 10th of December, in Plano, Texas.

Deborah (Deb) was born March 27, 1961, in Louisiana to John and Mary Loring of Zwolle, Louisiana.

She was a graduate of Louisiana State University, majored in journalism, and went on to work for the Times Picayune in New Orleans.

She later moved to Texas to raise her family, in Grapevine, Texas and continued her career to become a paralegal for a legal firm in Dallas, an Antiques Art Director for a Dallas auction gallery, sales and event coordinator for a local energy company and was the adult beverage manager for a major grocery chain.

Deb is survived by her husband, Tom Pierce of Plano; sisters Sharon Loria of Richardson, Texas and Neva Foster of Shreveport, Louisiana; sons David Scott of Grapevine, Texas, Mark Scott of Huntsville, Texas; daughter-in-law Sarah Scott; stepson Tom Pierce II and stepdaughter Danielle Pierce of Pensacola, Florida; three grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren. Deb leaves behind many dear friends that added joy to her life, and she loved very much.
