Defined by a life-long pursuit of knowledge, Judy was an avid reader of anything and everything attainable. She was an honors graduate of Erwin High School and Fayetteville Technical Community College, receiving numerous awards in the areas of scholastic achievement. She was a loving wife, mother and sister. Her religious upbringing placed Jehovah God first in her life. She was always eager to share with others the things she learned through research and a study of the scriptures. This she did as a young child and throughout her adult life.
Although heath issues were constant throughout Judy's adult life, she maintained a wonderful personality and a great sense of humor. Judy's work career of which she was most proud and enjoyed immensely was the Dragon Services of Dunn NC and the law firm of H. Terry Hutchens of Fayetteville. She was a kind and compassionate lady with an enviable sense of fairness and justice for all people.
In addition to her parents, Judy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gilbert Anderson.
Judy is survived by a son, Joel Kevin Tew of North Carolina, and a daughter, Kimberly Anderson of Edmonton, Alberta Canada. Left behind to cherish her memory are her sister, Patsy (Pat Ann) of Fayetteville, (David) often referred to as the brother she never had), cousins and numerous special friends.
Judy's family wishes to thank the entire medical team of Whispering Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation of Fayetteville for their compassionate and professional care.
