Daughter of Hiram D. Youngblood. Moved to Hinds County, Mississippi in the latter 1840s, then to Union Parish, Louisiana with her brothers. Married John C. McCurdy on 3 July 1851, and they lived near Spearsville, Union Parish before moving to Egypt Township, Ashley County, Arkansas.
