Note: Most of the Doxey (called Old Doxey by FAG) Cemetery burials were moved when cemetery was abandoned. Most went to the Sayre-Doxey Cemetery but some like James were moved to the Carter Cemetery but the ordinal headstone was left in Doxey. This memorial was not deleted or merged with the correct current burial location for James Henslee since the first headstone still appears in Doxey cemetery. Rob

James B. Henslee was born 14 Apr 1826 in Georgia. His wife was Martha J. unknown last name. Near Waldron, Scott County, Arkansas, James B. & Martha J. Henslee have four of their five children buried in the Henslee Cemetery. Children's names are, William A. Henslee, Charles Josephus Henslee, Mary O. Henslee, Rhonda C. Henslee. Only child to live to be an adult was James S. Henslee and he is buried in the Carter Cemetery near Carter, Beckham County, Oklahoma. Lucinda Beeson wife of Josephus Beeson is also buried in the Henslee Cemetery. James B. Henslee is buried in the Old Doxey Cemetery but you can find his name and Martha J. as being buried in the Carter Cemetery near Carter, Beckham County, Oklahoma along with their son James S. Henslee and his family.
