She was a member of the Schweitzer Church.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cloven; two brothers and their wives, Keith Evans and Ray Evans; her sister and husband, MaryLou Crigler and infant sons.
She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, William E. Cloven; son and his wife, Bill and Lynn Cloven of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; daughter and her husband, Kathrine J. and Dan Pope of Springfield; grandson, Jeremy Cloven of Cedar Rapids; grandson, Douglas and Liz Cloven of Cedar Rapids; granddaughter, Hay and Starr Cloven of Cedar Rapids; grandson, Daniel Allen Pope, Jr of Springfield; grandson, Taylor and Betsy Pope of Springfield; granddaughter, Reigan Janeice Pope of Springfield; seven great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Dahlia, Slater, Noah, Jack, Marley, and Zetta.
Memorial services will be Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 11:00 am at Schweitzer Church with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 am under the care of Gorman Scharpf Funeral Home. Private family burial will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Music Department at Schweitzer Church, 2747 E. Sunshine Street, Springfield, Missouri 65804.
