Leslie Jane Dameron-Shoop, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many, was born on April 24, 1969, in Tulsa, OK to parents Mike Dameron and Cheryl Holden. Leslie graduated HS from Sapulpa in 1987 and later earned her degree in nursing from Platt College School of Nursing. Leslie was as passionate about caring for her patients as she was about her friends and family. Leslie was a bright shining star to all her patients and co-workers during her career as a dedicated Nurse. Leslie was loved by all who knew her, and anyone that knew her knew that Leslie loved her friends, family, and pets more than anything. Leslie loved traveling with the love of her life, Jeff. Years of hard work and dedication blessed the two with many wonderful vacations to share with their family. Jeff and Leslie met on April 26th, 2011. They instantly fell in love and were married on May 1st, 2012. Not only did Leslie meet the love of her life, but she also met her son Jordan. Although technically Jordan is her stepson, the Shoop family does not recognize the term "step" and insist that steps are only used to assist one in getting on and off the front porch. Leslie adored Jordan more than he could ever possibly know. Leslie's fondest memories basically included anything that also included Jeff and Jordan from Hunting, Fishing, Boating, to simply lounging by the pool at their home in Tuttle. Leslie loved music, she really enjoyed going to concerts, and loved to play "name that band or song". Leslie enjoyed spending time with her mother, sisters, brother, in-laws and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Leslie battled a rare type of cancer for two years. She never gave up. Leslie went to be with the lord on Sunday December 11, 2022. She will be greatly missed.
